The university provides computers for faculty and staff use. Current replacement cycle is four years.
If hardware and software beyond the standard configuration is needed, contact the Service Center (x3277). Shirley Haines will be in contact to discuss the request. Departments are responsible for paying the additional cost beyond the standard configuration so discussing computer needs with your department head is the first step.
Backing Up- ITS can provide support in the synching and the backing up of storage on faculty computers in the form of TIme Machine or external hard drives. Please contact the help desk for direction x3277.
